It's strange how I feel so deflated,
when you seem so elated
at the sight of the lights.
Shining from the sky...
from dinnerware that flies in the night,
its not right to assume
they've come just to scope out the room.
I believe we have cause for concern,
but their presence is hard to discern...

With something so simple as the human eye,
so futile as the human mind,
and you've got both.

In dreams I am standing here naked,
while they're working hard to take this
thing I call life.
I have to let them try.
Between you and I- I believe that it's all just a game
designed to keep things the same
and if I quit there's no prize to be earned...
but these lessons are hardest to learn...
